In my view, a successful event has three elements:
Meaningful
Impactful
Beneficial
To achieve these three elements and make an event lively, well-received, and critically acclaimed, you first need a good plan. Event planning is key because a good plan leads to good event outcomes.
You can gauge 70-80% of an event's success from its plan. A mediocre plan, lacking in foresight, can only produce a mediocre event. Such plans typically exhibit the following three shortcomings.
(1) Lack of Highlights
This is a fatal reason why many event plans fail.

What is a "highlight"? Simply put, it's an idea or ideas in the plan that make you pause, even applaud. It's like lighting a single candle in a dark room—the whole space brightens instantly. Or like a spring in a pond that brings the water to life.
(2) Lack of Meaning
Standing high, your voice carries far; without height, there is no allure.

Distinguished guests do not attend events solely for high appearance fees. If an event's concept is elevated, it attracts extensive media coverage, amplifying its influence and social value. Then, heroes and talents of high caliber naturally come together. An event is like a person: to be happy and fulfilled, it must be meaningful and also interesting.
