How do you plan a corporate culture activity that employees love and leaders are satisfied with? The following four key steps can serve as a reference.

Four Key Steps in Planning Corporate Culture Activities

1. Precise Theme and Creative Innovation

The theme is the first step in event planning. Planners need to consider five elements: background, purpose, objectives, target audience, and scale. Gather as much relevant information as possible, such as industry characteristics and regional culture, and connect it effectively with the corporate culture. Use brainstorming to refine a precise theme. Once the theme is set, develop three or four creative concepts to bring it to life, forming the initial plan. For example, when planning a Party-building activity for Guiyang Rail Transit, we combined the Party-building goals with the company's "Ecological Metro Culture" and organized an activity in Zunyi themed "Red Pioneers, Moving Forward Together." Using the background story of "needing our support during the Long March in 1935," participants were divided into groups to complete challenges such as "transmitting intelligence," "raising revolutionary funds," "visiting revolutionary sites," and "raiding Loushan Pass." The precise theme and innovative creativity made the event a great success.

2. Focus on Execution and Emphasize Details

After the creative plan is approved, a detailed execution plan must be written, including background, purpose, theme name, target audience, strategy, content, rules, organizational division, process, material list, logistics support, implementation schedule, promotional plan, and budget. Every aspect should be clearly described, with a logical flow and clear division of responsibilities. Establish good communication mechanisms to maintain real-time contact between planners and executors, ensuring attention to details and avoiding minor oversights that could affect the overall presentation.

3. Distinctive Packaging to Create Atmosphere

Under the premise of fitting the theme, distinctive packaging can create a strong atmosphere and attract participants to engage. Planners need to set a unified style for all materials, including backgrounds, posters, prizes, attire, and game names. For example, in the "Find the Reading Master - Three Kingdoms Battle" event planned for Chengdu Jiufang Shopping Center, participants were divided into three teams: Wei, Shu, and Wu. They were provided with battle robes, battle flags, and strategy pouches, and the grand prize was set as the "Imperial Seal." The Three Kingdoms-style packaging quickly immersed everyone in the scenario.

4. Master the Budget and Control Costs

Budget is an aspect that cannot be overlooked in event planning. Except for a few large enterprises, most companies have limited budgets for activities. Planners should understand the budget range in advance and keep expenses within it; otherwise, budget issues may directly veto the creative ideas.
