From July 12 to 14, one of the key events of the inaugural "Shanghai Summer" International Consumption Season, the 2024 Bilibili Shanghai International Digital Entertainment and Animation Culture Expo (Bilibili World, or BW2024), was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The expo covered nearly 170,000 square meters across five exhibition halls of the "Four-Leaf Clover" venue, attracting over 700 exhibitors and more than 800 domestic and international content creators (UP主), with over 450 creator booths. Over three days, total visits exceeded 250,000.
BW2024 featured nine themed zones: Anime Encounters, Creator Space, Virtual Paradise, Model Heroes, Game World, Dream Bazaar, Heartfelt Whispers, Pain Without End, and Tabletop Together. Visitors could explore different areas based on their interests and enjoy a wide variety of activities.

Highlights abounded at the booths. The Honkai: Star Rail booth featured an 8-meter-tall movable SAM mech, Love and Deepspace displayed a giant mechanical eye, and Where Winds Meet showcased a dragon head that could emit clouds and mist. Additionally, booths for Palworld, Once Human, Wuthering Waves, Fate/Grand Order, and Genshin Impact also featured large installations or spectacular performances.
